Once the private home of the Primat family, today Domaine des Etangs exists as a modern sanctuary, set in over 1,000 hectares of protected countryside, surrounded by beautiful forests, grassland, landscaped gardens and lakes. The chateau is complete with lounge areas in which to relax, a fumoir, a library and a dining room, all of which encourage guests to relax and linger.
At the end of December, the chefs and on-site elves will ensure that you have your most magical Christmas yet.
Starting with a festive Christmas Eve dinner at the starred restaurant Dyades, guests will be served up traditional Christmas favourites cooked to absolute perfection in a setting of your choice within the hotel.
The 25th December brings a day filled with enjoyment and family fun. Once the frenzy of unwrapping presents has subsided, enjoy a delectable Christmas brunch followed by a leisurely stroll through the gardens. Here you can enjoy the pure forest air, walk along the banks of the water features or discover the hundreds of books in the library before diving into the trunks full of toys and board games in the Attic – the Château’s playroom – a real moment of sharing for all generations.
