Designed by Peerutin and inspired by John Lautner’s iconic 60s California homes, the house is bursting with innovative design and meticulously sourced or crafted pieces from around the world, all at once minimal but deliciously extravagant.
The Iron Man house also embodies one of our favourite words, ‘private’. Private heated pool, private jacuzzi, private gym, private bar, private wine cellar, private elevator, private spa, private pizza oven, private garage parking, private cinema and private butler to help your stay along. And of course, since this is South Africa, the private barbecue needs no introduction. While the property has it all, the aforementioned private butler can also sort out anything extra you might need from personal trainers to shoppers and au pairs, as well as help sort out trips to Lion’s Head, the V&A Waterfront, City Centre, Table Mountain, Constantia Wine Routes or beaches, each between just six and 20 minutes away. Come for an escape from the world, family reunion, epic party or anything in between – just be warned that shooting bottles of bubbly is not included.
