All-inclusive French Polynesian island retreat with only 10 handcrafted bungalows
We believe in many things at Travel Bitch, and one of them is definitely that everyone should spend time on an unbelievably spellbinding South Pacific atoll once in their lives. At least. So, make us happy and head to Ninamu Resort, hidden away on a private island in the southwest of the Tikehau Atoll – a half-mile wide long strip encircling a gorgeous lagoon that even saw the likes of Jacques Cousteau visit.
The intimate island may not be large, but is has plenty to offer an escape for all the senses. Adventurous spirits can take to the waters to surf, fish, dive, kite surf or paddle board in waters bursting with colourful fish, gourmets are well fed with locally-sourced organic produce and meats – with fish often caught yourself! And of course, relaxation is always on the menu. Something truly special happens when you venture onto our atoll – the stark landscape and infinite horizons take over your soul, as you float in the lagoon just watching the clouds roll by.
